Our clients wanted to transform their segmented, dated first floor into an open, light-filled space that respects the home's classic architecture while accommodating a modern family lifestyle. The original layout restricted flow and isolated the kitchen from primary living areas.
Execution & Outcome
We removed two load-bearing walls, installing structural steel concealed within custom millwork to preserve ceiling heights. The new layout features a chef's kitchen with a massive central island, seamless transitions into the living area, and wide-plank European oak flooring throughout to tie the spaces together flawlessly.
